I get this question all of the time, so I decided to pay attention to the timeline trends this year and how my seniors decide to use their photos. My two thoughts are:

1 - think of what you will need these photos for and when will they be needed.

They brought the style and personality, bold colors and also monochromatic outfits, and there was a really cool blend of light and airy and dark and moody vibes across the board.

Haley wanted to celebrate her 30th birthday with portraits and I was elated!!

She wanted to capture the woman that she was as she exited her twenties and who she was stepping into at the start of this new decade.

When it comes to maternity sessions, versatility in outfits is always really fun for me to get to photograph. Anna, a fellow friend and Bluffton photographer, brought three unique looks that nailed a luxury, feminine, modern, minimal, and also dramatic look to her photo shoot.

When it came to updating their branding photos, this female run business had clear direction and focus for their session; knew their audience; and chose outfits that were not only tailored to how they wanted to be seen by their clients, but also that could work across several marketing platforms.
